On July 21, 2023, the NMPA issued Measures for the Administration of Drug Inspection (for Trial Implementation). The main purpose is to implement the regulation requirements of such as the Drug Administration Law and the Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Drug Production, and to further standardize drug inspection behaviors.

Compared with the 2021 version, the main content has modified and improved the relevant provisions such as Chapter 3 "Inspection Procedures" and Chapter 9 "Processing of Inspection Results".
